Melodify is your pocket music studio — designed for recording, looping, mixing, and lyric syncing. This Privacy Policy explains how Melodify handles your information, what permissions we request, and how your data stays private.
Melodify works primarily on your device. We do not store personal information on external servers. The app may access:
- Local Project Data: Recordings, loops, lyrics, and mixes you create.
- Imported Files: Audio files you choose via the system file picker.
- Microphone Input: For recording your voice or instruments.
Your data is used strictly to power Melodify’s features:
- Enable recording, overdubbing, looping, and lyric syncing.
- Allow import/export of audio and project files.
- Provide playback, tempo, and mixing functionality.
We never sell or trade your data.
Melodify may request these permissions:
- Microphone: To record audio.
- File Access: To import/export audio files via system file picker.
All data stays on your device unless you choose to share/export. Melodify relies on your device’s built-in encryption and sandboxing for security.
You control your Melodify data. You can:
- Create, edit, or delete projects anytime.
- Revoke permissions from device settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove all Melodify data.
Melodify has no ads or trackers. If you share files via email, messaging, or cloud services, their policies apply independently.
Melodify is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy for new features or legal needs. Updates will appear here with the revised date.
