CineSync is your filmmaking workflow companion — designed to manage shotboards, scripts, props, continuity, and reports. This Privacy Policy explains how CineSync handles your information, what permissions we request, and how your data stays private.
CineSync works primarily on your device. We do not store personal information on external servers. The app may access:
- Local Project Data: Shotboards, scripts, notes, and reports you create.
- Imported Files: TXT, DOC, or PDF files you choose via the system file picker.
- Media Files: Photos, videos, or audio you capture or attach for props/continuity.
Your data is used strictly to power CineSync’s features:
- Manage shots, scripts, and notes.
- Enable import/export and EOD report generation.
- Allow optional media capture for continuity and props tracking.
We never sell or trade your data.
CineSync may request these permissions:
- Photos & Videos: For reference visuals and attachments.
- Microphone: For optional voice notes.
- Camera: To capture continuity or props directly.
- File Access: To import/export TXT, DOC, PDF files via system file picker.
All data stays on your device unless you choose to share/export. CineSync relies on your device’s built-in encryption and sandboxing for security.
You control your CineSync data. You can:
- Create, edit, or delete projects anytime.
- Revoke permissions from device settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove all CineSync data.
CineSync has no ads or trackers. If you share files via email, messaging, or cloud services, their policies apply independently.
CineSync is intended for adult creators. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy for new features or legal needs. Updates will appear here with the revised date.
